Assist. Prof. Dr. Boštjan Gabrovšek

I am a mathematician specialising in topology, computer science and optimisation methods. My research focuses mainly on low-dimensional topology, where I study protein topology, nodular patterns in proteins, and the classification of geometric and topological features in proteins. I also integrate artificial intelligence into protein classification to bridge theoretical and computational approaches. 

In addition, I work in graph theory and investigate optimisation problems such as graph dominance, colouring and assignment problems.
