On Thursday, 19 September 2024, we were visited by the representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia from the Movement for Freedom party, Mrs Jožica Derganc. Mrs Derganc describes herself as a "Novo-Mestrian at heart and soul", was informed about the innovative projects we are developing in cooperation with industry and research institutions.
She stressed the importance of linking science, education and business so that the region can continue to move forward in the spirit of innovation and sustainable development. The Director of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Janez Povh, guided the guest through the research laboratories and presented the key projects and activities of the Science and Technology Centre.
