The Ministry of Digital Transformation organized a public consultation on the establishment of the National Center for Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Slovenia

The event aimed to spark discussion on AI research, innovation, and the use of AI technologies across society, as well as the foundation of the National AI Center.

Minister Dr. Emilija Stojmenova Duh highlighted the importance of such consultations for the successful implementation of Slovenia’s AI Development Program by 2025. The panel, featuring prominent AI experts, discussed the Center’s potential, innovation, and AI workforce challenges.

The conclusion was that Slovenia, with its strong AI research tradition, can establish a globally competitive AI center.
