On 12 September 2024, the results of the SadjAR project "AUGMENTED REALITY IN FRUIT AND VEGETABLE GROWING" were successfully presented at the {Rudolfovo - Science and Technology Centre Novo mesto as part of the Open Day.
The event, which took place in the foyer of the Novo mesto Development Centre, brought together a large number of stakeholders interested in new technological solutions to improve agricultural practices.
Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the benefits of using Augmented Reality (AR) glasses for communication between farmers and agricultural advisors. AR technology enables a live video call where the advisor provides real-time assistance in the field while the farmer keeps both hands free to work.
The SadjAR project responds to the challenges of modern farming by simplifying access to expert advice and educational content. Through AR glasses, farmers can not only communicate with advisors, but also access video guides and information that improve their productivity and efficiency.
Participants agreed that the SadjAR project brings concrete solutions that will contribute significantly to the progress of the Slovenian agricultural sector.
