{Rudolfovo - Science and Technology Centre Novo mesto is successfully presenting itself at the 56th edition of the European Science and Technology Fair from 18 to 22 September 2024. International Fair of Crafts and Entrepreneurship (MOS), which is taking place in Celje. We participate in the Science and Economy Meeting Point, organised by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, which has been attracting many visitors since 2016, especially students and pupils looking for opportunities in high-tech industries.
This year's MOS was dedicated to showcasing technologies, innovations and products in the fields of mechatronics, automation, robotics, energy, nanotechnology, space technology and digitalisation, with a focus on digital transformation, Industry 4.0 and the upcoming Industry 5.0.
{Rudolfovo is presenting the SadjAR: Augmented Reality in Fruit and Vegetable Production project at the fair. Visitors have the opportunity to learn first-hand about the benefits of using Augmented Reality (AR) glasses in communication between farmers and agricultural advisors. This technology enables a live video call, with the advisor providing real-time expert support while the farmer has both hands free to work. SadjAR simplifies access to expert advice, educational content and video guides, improving farmers' productivity and efficiency.
MOS also showcases a number of other advanced technologies, such as the Hybrid Neuro project, which incorporates bionic systems in a 3D human model, and one of the most important computing systems in Europe, HPC Vega, presented by the Institute of Information Sciences Maribor (IZUM).
This year's fair proves once again that the Science-Business Nexus is key to connecting innovation and business and promoting new technologies that will shape the future.
