{Rudolfovo, as a member of the SPOZNAJ, invites you today, Thursday, 21 March 2024, via the Zoom platform, between 10:30 and 12:00, to a lecture on " Research Data Management Planning", led by Peter Čerče (ZRS Koper).
The lecture will introduce the Research Data Management Plan (RDP), which is the basis for the successful implementation of research.
Lecture content:
Research processes vary between scientific disciplines and research fields, but often have in common that they involve testing a model or hypothesis using research data. Responsible handling of research data is the basis for the successful conduct of research. A Research Data Management Plan (RDP) is a document that a research team should prepare before starting to conduct research and that foresees all relevant aspects throughout the lifecycle of the research data. The RARP may be amended and supplemented by the research team as necessary during the lifetime of the project, as it is not always possible to anticipate all the circumstances of the research before it is carried out. We will introduce you to the key elements of an RARP, the templates that some research funders have in place for this purpose, and the tools and instruments to prepare a proper RARP.
