You are cordially invited to the 9th International Conference on Industrial Engineering Development: Opportunities, Potentials and Challenges for the Green Transition, which will take place on 21 November 2024 at Rudolfovo - Science and Technology Centre Novo mesto, Makerspace Hall, Podbreznik 15, 8000 Novo mesto.
The conference promotes the practice of cooperation between business, research and education organisations. The main objective of the conference is to ensure the transfer of knowledge between stakeholders, with a focus on development trends and awareness of the need for quality human resources in the technological and industrial sectors, as well as in the broader research field.
The focus is on topics addressing the green transition. In order to overcome the challenges of sustainable development, particular attention needs to be paid to this issue if Europe is to achieve climate neutrality by 2050 through the use of green technologies, and the green transition needs to be such that it will empower a competitive economy, while recognising that the green transition brings with it a number of challenges as well as opportunities. The thematic tracks of the conference bring together experts from Slovenia and abroad, from business, universities, institutes and other professional publics.
