On 11-13 October 2023, the Jožef Stefan Institute will organise the 16th International Technology Transfer Conference (ITTC), which will take place in the framework of the International Conference on the Information Society (IS2023), also organised by the IJS.
This year's ITTC is being held as part of the ICSU Science Month initiative and as part of the EU's Knowledge Valorisation Campaign.
The conference will present the European Council and European Commission guidelines on principles and recommendations for knowledge valorisation.
A special prize for innovation from public research organisations will be awarded. The competition will focus on the presentation of business proposals to a judging panel composed of investors and technology commercialisation experts. The members of the jury will assess the commercial potential of the innovative technologies presented and award the technology with the highest commercial potential, with a cash prize of €2,500!
Experts in the field will present their expert contributions on the topic of technology transfer and intellectual property. The papers will also be published in the conference proceedings. Visitors will have the opportunity to hear presentations on the research work and results of excellent scientists (ARIS projects) and on current research in various fields.
